Persönliches und Sachliches is a retrospective book on 25 years of Fritz Helmuth Ehmcke’s career, with collected essays and work samples. It was published by Verlag Hermann Reckendorf, on the occasion of Ehmcke’s 50th birthday. Ehmcke (1878–1965) was a German graphic designer, typographer, and illustrator. The entire book is set in Ehmcke Elzevir, a typeface he designed in 1924, which was published by the Ludwig Wagner foundry in 1927.
