From Daniel Frumhoff:
The Parsons Communication Design Lecture Series features prominent industry professionals, designers, and scholars to share insights on graphic design, interaction design, and visual culture. The lectures are free and open to the public, creating space for both students and the broader design community to engage with current ideas and practices.
For Spring 2026, I was invited to design the visual identity for the lecture series. I designed and lettered this poster series as a set of promotional materials. They were Riso printed, distributed around campus, and shared across social media.
The visual direction centers on overlapping letters and colors to represent shared experiences and intersections between students, educators, disciplines, and ideas. The typographic compositions introduce play within structure, while exploring layering as a design system. The goal was to showcase the energy of the Parsons community and vibrancy of voices the series brings together.
