L’Orchestre de Chambre de Genève (“The Geneva Chamber Orchestra”, or l’OCG) was founded in 1958 under the name Collegium Academicum and adopted its current name in 1992.

Local agency twks realised the 2026 rebranding, preserving the pre-existing logo set in Radion A and B. They added a pun on the “room/bedroom” reference in the orchestra’s name, with a nod to hotel door hangers, and the cheeky slogan “Please disturb”.

NaN Holo supports this tongue in cheek humour, and its rounded corners are echoed in the door hanger mascot. ABC Marfa comes in as a supporting act, its sharpness contrasting Holo’s occasional round corners. The combination of these two sans-serif typefaces is interesting as they both convey a sense of warmth or quirkiness (Holo through its contours, Marfa through its structure) and a sense of sturdinessy (Holo through its structure, Marfa through the tension in its contours) – both qualities reversed in the other typeface.

In the same way, the identity walks a thin line between seriousness and playfulness with its use of black and white, supported by refreshing gradients only used in backgrounds, and always with white as a transition colour. Same with the compositions, centered or grid-based but occasionally shaken by the door hanger appearing at seemingly random hangers or slightly overlapping other elements.
