For the “100% Sviy” (“100% Ours / Local”) promotional campaign, McDonald’s Ukraine launched a special menu inspired by traditional Ukrainian culinary themes, featuring dishes like a pork burger on a beet-red bun, a chicken burger with garlic sauce on a rye bun, and country-style potato wedges.
To give the international fast-food visual identity a distinct local flavor, the promotional graphics feature Lviv Towers as the main headline typeface.
Designed in 2024 by Victor Fedyuk and Kyrylo Tkachov for the AlfaBravo foundry, Lviv Towers is a expressive display grotesque influenced by 19th-century Ukrainian theater posters and vintage Lviv shop signage. Its tall, compressed proportions, strict vertical rhythm, and subtle historical personality make it an ideal choice for high-impact advertising, bridging traditional local aesthetics with modern commercial graphic design.
