Fonts from the Flea Market #1350

European sleeve for a single with two tracks from the soundtrack to Doctor Zhivago (German: Doktor Schiwago) by French composer Maurice Jarre (1924–2009, father of Jean-Michel).

The bold letters appear to be based on Ringling Brothers. Several glyphs including most capitals are different from the typeface as shown by Photo-Lettering. This suggests that the designer might have found inspiration in a limited in-use sample, and drew the missing letters themselves. See also a book jacket designed by Peter Haars in 1967, which constitutes a similar case.
