Poster announcing an art competition at the Amarillo Art Center (today known as the Amarillo Museum of Art). It was open to two-dimensional works of art in any media by any artist living in Texas, New Maxico, Oklahoma, Colorado, or Kansas. The poster art shows cows attached to hot air balloons, framed by the title set in Lariat. The details and the entry form at the bottom are in ITC Avant Garde Gothic.
