Fearless Flowers is a photographic exhibition presented at Pix.House, featuring works by Marcin T. Józefiak. The photographs explore themes of intimacy and courage, focusing on moments where delicacy ceases to be a weakness and begins to reveal its strength. The project operates within a subtle tension between body and nature, fragility and resilience, silence and emotion.
My role included the design of the exhibition poster, the visual identity, and social media communication. The main objective was to create a coherent visual language that would not compete with the photography, but instead frame and support it. The system was conceived as restrained and precise, avoiding literal references and leaving space for interpretation, while clearly defining the exhibition’s presence both in physical space and online.
To express this balance, an unconventional typographic pairing was used. The raw, disciplined Futura 100 by TypeTogether was combined with the expressive Swear typeface by OH no Type Co. The contrast between modernist structure and emotional, almost bodily expressiveness reflects the tension central to the exhibition and resonates with the character of the photographs.
The entire project was designed as a consistent visual narrative – from poster to identity elements and social media materials – preparing the audience for the exhibition experience even before entering the gallery space.
