The LÊN LOOP Music Festival is Nguyen Dan Tan’s graduation project made in Van Lang University’s Graphic Design Honors program.

As the Vietnamese music industry continues to grow alongside the rise of young artists and Gen Z/Millennial audiences, music festivals are gradually evolving beyond traditional stage formats into multi-sensory spaces that combine sound and visuals. LÊN LOOP emerges as a space where “Loop” not only represents rotation and repetition, but also symbolizes an open structure of continuous movement, where each layer of experience draws participants deeper into a shared rhythm of music, color, and emotion. As a whole, LÊN LOOP conveys the idea of breaking away from repetitive daily routines and stepping into a new state of energy that is freer, more explosive, and more connected.

The typography system combines three typefaces to capture the festival’s expressive, playful, and energetic spirit while maintaining a clear information hierarchy. Nekta by Zarma Type is used for titles and key statements, bringing an expressive and playful character that reflects the lively, experimental atmosphere of the festival. Palma Fizzy by Pangram Pangram takes on the subheadings, adding a fizzy and quirky quality while maintaining readability and creating a more dynamic typographic rhythm. For supporting text and smaller information, Forma DJR Text from DJR provides a more structured and readable foundation. Its distinctive details keep the functional typography connected to the overall visual character. Together, the three typefaces create a balance between expression, playfulness, and readability, allowing typography to become an active part of LÊN LOOP’s visual identity.
