Exhibition graphics for Lehnert & Landrock. Relecture d’une archive coloniale (English: Revisiting A Colonial Archive; German: Relektüre eines kolonialen Archivs) at Photo Elysée. The exhibition presented a critical re-examination of the photographic archive of the Lehnert & Landrock studio. Active in North Africa at the beginning of the 20th century, the studio created an orientalist visual language for a European audience, deeply shaped by the colonial context of its time. The original archives were shown alongside contemporary works by Nouf Aljowaysir and Gloria Oyarzabal, both of whom engage with the history and legacy of colonial representation.
