Kuno Drossbach had a factory for egg-based pastry in Nuremberg, Germany. The company also was a wholesaler of milled goods, legumes, and colonial goods. In 1924, their invoice was set in Schelter-Antiqua.

This typeface originated at Schelter & Giesecke in Leipzig in 1905. In 1914, it was likely the inspiration for Morris F. Benton to work on a “Round Roman” – which in 1920 was released by American Type Founders as Souvenir.
