Gino Ritmo started in 2018 as Léo Gilliard’s solo project, built around FM synths and vintage drum machines in tribute to 80s new wave and italo disco. In March 2020, mid-lockdown, Tatiana Tagli joined as Ricci Verace on vocals, and the duo's first album with 11 tracks landed on CAF? in July 2022.

Night Shift (Part I) pairs 808Hz’s italo leanings with Ricci’s restless, globe-roaming writing: hazy dance music that drifts from melodic synth cruises into harder EBM-techno hits. Dark on the surface, warm underneath.

This album was designed by Julien Fisher and Pablo Perez with the typefaces Furya by Léna Le Pommelet and Euclid Square by Swiss Typefaces
