For the 2025 annual program of the Fondation Beyeler, design agency BOROS has developed a fresh visual concept. As one of Basel’s notable cultural hotspots, the Fondation Beyeler not only hosts world-class exhibitions but also offers a diverse range of events, workshops, and celebrations. BOROS, which served as the museum’s lead agency for over thirteen years, reimagined the design to reflect the institution’s evolving vision.
For the new design, BOROS combined the striking typeface Lucifer by Nguyen Gobber with Linotype’s Trade Gothic Next, which has been the Fondation Beyeler’s elegantly understated corporate typeface for years. With its sharp, angular forms, Lucifer lends the design a modern and distinctive character. The overall aesthetic captures the dynamic and multifaceted nature of the program, inviting audiences to engage with its content in a fresh and inspiring way.
