EASD José Nogué is a design school in Jaén, Andalusia. The school’s new visual identity was developed by José Cruz, a 4th year design student of the school. It uses Escuela, a typeface designed by Carlos Campos, graphic design professor at EASD José Nogué. The cursive é is derived from the signature of the school’s eponym, painter José Nogué (1880–1973). Escuela (Spanish for “school”) was released by Cuchi, qué tipo for general licensing in March 2023.
