The Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe (German Sports Aid Foundation) is starting the year 2023 with a fresh corporate design and a new brand architecture. In co-creative teamwork, we have developed a striking corporate design: A stringent system with maximum flexibility that guarantees our partner the simplest application across all media.
The pyramid as the core symbol combines origin and modernity in a timeless trademark. It embodies both the base of young sporting talent in Germany and the importance of broad social support that accompanies top athletes in their careers.
According to Fuenfwerken, the new exclusive typeface is an essential component of the new corporate design of Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe. The eponymous Sporthilfe – a customized version of NN Nouvelle Grotesk – was developed by Nouvelle Noire in collaboration with Fuenfwerken:
The geometric sans serif with large x-height and open letterforms is perfectly suited for use in both small and large type sizes. Whether making a bold statement or providing factual information, Sporthilfe is used in all communications. Sophisticated details and subtle stroke width differences make the typeface appear serious and approachable despite its clarity.
