The Bob Dylan compilation Masterpieces (1978) is much less well known than the top-selling Greatest Hits and Greatest Hits Vol. 2. Released by CBS Records as a three-records gatefold vinyl album set in 1978. Title and artist name are set in Novel Gothic, a design started by Charles H. Becker and finished by Morris Fuller Benton for ATF in 1928.
