A nineteenth-century abstinence pledge card. For another card, see Touch Not, Taste Not, Handle Not.

With Malice Toward None, With Charity for All
I, the undersigned, do pledge myself, God helping me, to abstain from all intoxicating liquors, as a beverage.
Feb. 22, 1881
Mrs. R. Best

The hatched blackletter goes by the name of Title Text Open No. 3. The left-leaning script is Bulletin and the wide slab is Antique Extended.
