Venera is the debut album of Croatian hip-hop artist Zembo Latifa. Studio Size created his new visual identity that is all about dynamics – a design system with custom fonts and rich iconography. We also designed the cover art for the album, visuals for songs, and swag. Venera (or “Venus”) refers to both the goddess of love and the planet. The cover visual shows this ambiguity.

The dynamic identity system contains three typefaces: GT America Extended by Grilli Type plus two typefaces by Marko Hrastovec of Hot Type: Zembo Sans (a custom name for Hot Sans) and Zembo Serif, a variation on Punta. Typography is enhanced with custom lettering, primarily used for lyrics in music videos.
