Yves Bartlett is an independent curator and performer living in Paris, France. Grounded in contemporary poetry, Yves’s practice amalgamates pseudo-documentary studies, absurd stylistic exercises, and reflections on the artist’s persona. Embracing performative expressions, he is a member of the musical duo Boogie(A)Woogie(B), in addition to contributing to the performance groups Soleil Gras and the free-jazz band Traumpunkt.

He is the co-founder of Folle Béton, the Fol Film Festival, and the Non-étoile artist-run space and art collective. He also took care of the artistic direction of the Espace nonono (2023), the Festival La distance séparant l’œuf du sol (2020), and the Galerie Folle Béton (2018-2019) as well as several exhibition of Galerie Nivet-Carzon.

For the design of his website, Yves used a combination of two typefaces: Footic is used in all caps for the main titles/buttons of the site, employing a wide range of pictograms from the font glyph table. The Cooper Hewitt typeface is used for the body text of the site.
