Vinduet (“The Window”) is a literary magazine by Norwegian publisher Gyldendal. Founded in 1947, it was published in print until 2021, when it became an online-only magazine.
In the early 1970s, Vinduet was edited by Kjell Heggelund together with Jan Erik Vold. During this period, Peter Haars was responsible for the magazine’s design. For the Vinduet logo, he used Rhythm Bold, a bottom-heavy display face by Lettergraphics. Haars served as Gyldendal’s first art director from around 1969 and designed numerous book covers for the publishing house.
