Treize Catalan membership card, saison 1934–35

Treize Catalan, also spelled XIII Catalan, is a rugby league team from Perpignan, France. Established in 1934, it was one of the founding members of the French rugby league championship. This membership card for Monsieur Fr. Bedrignans is from the inaugural season.

The sans serifs used in all caps are Futura – known in France under the name Europe – and Banjo. The latter came with two widths for most letters, see the A’s in “Française” and “Saison”. The M initial in the form is from Webster.
