Transit Architektinnen is a Leipzig-based architecture studio, led by by Laura Bracke and Diana Felber.

The front page of their portfolio website is composed of project images and white space. Each time it is reloaded, the front page is reassembled. Images are randomly stacked according to a set of pre-defined grid-based rules, creating surprising compositions and combinations of different projects, giving the site a lively feel on each visit.

A project index helps to find a specific project. The project pages can be composed of images and white space using grid structure in a custom backend, running Kirby as a content management system.

Developed by Wolfgang Schwärzler in collaboration with and programmed by Jonas Holfeld.

The design of the website’s headline typeface, Lelo Mono by Katharina Köhler, was started around 2020/21 as a custom version of Lelo for this visual identity. It was further developed as a collective effort by Maurice Göldner, Nina Faulhaber, Katharina Köhler, and Wolfgang Schwärzler at Camelot and released in 2021.
