Total Drama (often shortened as TD) is a Canadian animated sitcom created by Jennifer Pertsch and Tom McGillis that premiered on Teletoon (now the Canadian version of Cartoon Network) in Canada on July 8, 2007, and on Cartoon Network in the U.S. on June 5, 2008. The series is both a homage and satire of common conventions from reality television competition shows like Survivor.

Each season of the main Total Drama series involves a handful of unsuspecting teenagers, who will fight with complete strangers, air their dirty laundry in their outhouse confessional, and compete in life-threatening challenges all over the island (Island, Revenge of the Island, All-Stars, Pahkitew Island), movie studio (Action), or around the world (World Tour), and risk being voted off. Last one standing wins $100,000 (only in the first season), and later by $1 million.

The first spin-off the Ridonculous Race, is similar to World Tour, but without the musical numbers, and involves more competitors than just the teenagers.

The second spin-off Total Dramarama is essentially a babyfication spin-off.

The main font used for the franchise is Samdan, and on occasion, Eastwood. Both are produced by GautFonts and also include lowercase versions.
