Digital cover for the album Maxident
From Wikipedia:
Maxident is the seventh Korean-language extended play and eleventh overall by South Korean boy band Stray Kids. It was released on October 7, 2022, through JYP Entertainment and Republic Records […] A portmanteau of “max” or “maximum” and “incident” or “accident”, the EP saw the band take on a “love” concept for the first time.
It consists of eight tracks, including the lead single “Case 143”. It became their second consecutive number-one album in the US and the fourth South Korean and non-English album to top the chart.
The logo for the title is using Aeternus Bold, which was created by Unio Creative Solutions, with the letter X being customized with an arrow heading to upper right and a jagged arrow towards bottom right. The font is also used for the single as well as for the “mugshot” height bar on the background of the digital cover. For the credits on the bottom, a yet unidentified grotesk is being used.
The logo of Stray Kids below the title was hand-drawn by one of the group’s members, Bang Chan, showing its sharp and striking wordmark. Xtreem by Mans Grebäck is a font with similar characteristics.
Different from previous Stray Kids albums, Maxident used the Pink-Black-Grey-White color scheme for its aesthetics. This resembles the "love" concept of the album while still showcasing the usual, edgy side of Stray Kids that we know.
The album has four physical versions. This picture shows three of them: Go version (left one), T-Crush version (middle one), and Heart version (right one).
The fourth version, Case version, uses a different color scheme, switching the Pink and Grey colors for Red and Ivory colors. This version consists of eight different types for each of the eight Stray Kids members.
The lead single, “Case 143”, also uses the same font, Aeternus Bold, with police line-style customizations for the text “Case”, and the addition of a heart shape in “143”.
The “Maxident” text and the Stray Kids logo can be seen in their concept photos for the album.
