Filmmaker and photographer Peter Sutherland was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and raised in Colorado. Small Town Kids Need Something To Do is a collection of Sutherland’s physical works from 2013–15, paired with a companion photo essay, and a foreword and interview by Francesca Gavin. The hardback book was published by Lichen Books and launched on the 4th of May 2023 at the WASTE! Store in London. In celebration of the release, Sutherland sent over a selection of his collages to show alongside the book.
