SIGNAAL is an annual radio/music festival in the Astridpark, a park in the city of Bruges, Belgium. It is organized by the local community-based radio station Villa Bota, in collaboration with Het Entrepot, Jong Volk, and Jeugddienst Brugge, with support from the City of Bruges.

The event's identity design is based on existing custom shapes made for Villa Bota. Sam & Sam wanted to bring those on another level, making them radiate like a radio signal. Combining the inlined version of Big Shoulders with the line pattern of the radio shapes, they start to interrupt each other and give the graphics another dimension, especially with the online animations.
