Shapes by Hydro is a knowledge platform powered by Norsk Hydro – the Norwegian aluminium and energy giant – bringing together over 50 years of material expertise to help designers and engineers make better use of aluminium. The platform distils the collective knowledge of metallurgists, physicists, chemists and designers into a resource for anyone working with the material.

The identity and website was designed by Oslo-based Opening Hours, a young exploratory design and technology studio. The design is built around STK Bureau Sans and STK Gerhard by Smuss Type Kiosk.
