Scarpe Carrioli is a family-run brand known for its handcrafted, timeless shoes made in Le Marche, Italy. With excellent expertise, it carries forward the rich tradition of Italian craftsmanship with an unwavering commitment to quality. Art direction and web design were led by our studio, capturing the essence of classic Italian style and creating a refined experience.
The typography embodies Carrioli’s artisanal approach to shoemaking – elegant, enduring, and deeply rooted in tradition. From the start, we set out to visually express the brand’s character and emotion at first glance, selecting a type combination that balances heritage, sophistication, and a contemporary touch. Louize, designed by by Matthieu Cortat, serves as the primary typeface for bold titles and paragraphs, adding a polished feel, while Sweet Sans by Mark van Bronkhorst is used in all caps to elevate the subheaders, reinforcing a timeless, classic aesthetic.
