The Opéra-Comique is one of the oldest theatrical and musical institutions in France, alongside the Opéra de Paris and the Comédie-Française. This theatre's mission is to introduce a wide audience to lyrical works and shows from the French repertoire, ensuring their production and distribution.

The 23/24 season of the Opéra-Comique has been given a makeover by the Parisian agency Bronx, using the sans serif Montefiore (designed by Colophon) combined with the swashes of the typeface Ninna Regular (designed by Margot Lévêque).
