The cover is the reader's or consumer's first visual encounter with book and plays a crucial role in grabbing attention and sparking interest. The goal of cover design is to convey the essence of the work, evoke an emotional response in the consumer, and intrigue them enough to want to learn more or acquire the publication. Equally important is the layout of the book’s interior, ensuring readability and harmonious integration of illustrations, if used, to complement the book's content.

All these tasks were masterfully accomplished by the talented Ukrainian book designer and illustrator Mykola Leonovych in the design of the book Nadiya i demon samotnosti (Надія і демон самотності, English: “Nadia and the Demon of Loneliness”) by Nadia Kushko (Надія Кушко), published by Meridian Czernowitz. For the cover design, he used the fonts Areqo 4F and Laqonic 4F together with Joanna Sans Nova Italic. Areqo 4F was also employed for headings within the book itself, with Joanna Sans Nova used for the text.
