Modus Coffee, based in Perth, Australia, is a specialty roaster with a strong emphasis on transparency, farmer relationships, and clarity in design. Since 2015, I have served as lead designer and art director, responsible for the full scope of the brand’s visual identity across packaging, retail, web, print, and social media.

Over nearly a decade, the identity has developed into a cohesive system that balances minimal aesthetics with a warm, community-driven ethos. The approach relies on understated typography, restrained textures, and a considered colour palette to create a brand that is both approachable and refined.
