From Pop-up Institut’s website (translated):

How does it feel to experience schizophrenia? Pop-up Institut brought together eight artists with and without schizophrenia experience. Together they put on an intermedia art festival that took place at Moritzplatz in Berlin from June 11 to 18, 2022. On display were interactive exhibits that sought to bring the experience of schizophrenia to life. They were accompanied by workshops, artist talks and performances. The accompanying educational program was especially aimed at young people aged 15 and older and was free of charge. Educators and teachers were invited to visit with their classes or groups. The goal of the festival was to make schizophrenia tangible. Tangible, sensual experiences can promote empathy and, in turn, reduce stigmas and prejudices against mental illness.

Designed by Lara Gressner, the poster for Mental – das Kunstfestival zu Schizophrenie is set in Margo+Beuys and Dazzle Unicase Light, against a backdrop of abstract 3D shapes.
