La Grande Folie is an event identity and art direction project developed for Théâtre Jean Vilar in Vitry-sur-Seine, France.

The visual identity makes a bold and direct use of Parabole (Dávid Molnár), combining its expressive letterforms with a vibrant colour palette and playful compositions across the event’s printed and communication materials. Both versions of the typeface are used, Parabole Display and Text.

Particular attention was given to the event’s leaflet and poster. A silver ink was used in place of black, creating a distinctive metallic effect in the imagery and adding an unexpected dimension to the printed materials.
