Cover for a rock ’n’ roll album by Joey Dee and the Starliters, recorded live in Miami Beach and released in 1962 on Roulette Records. The band formed in 1958 in New Jersey and is active to this day. This month, band leader, singer and saxophonist Joey Dee (born Joseph DiNicola) will turn 84.

The main typeface is Anzeigen-Grotesk fett, first cast by Haas in 1932 as a reworking of an older design with curved diagonals. Around 1963, Weber would issue Neue Aurora IX schmalfett, which is distinguished from the Haas version by little more than an R with diagonal leg.
