Filmotype Fleet in use on the debut album of Jackie Wilson (1934–1984). Nicknamed “Mr. Excitement”, the singer from Detroit was “a prominent figure in the transition of rhythm and blues into soul”. According to Wikipedia, “[h]is performance style is often cited as a significant influence on contemporary and later artists such as Elvis Presley, James Brown, and Michael Jackson.” Wilson’s career was cut short after suffering a heart attack during a performance in 1975.
