HotBuns visual identity

Whilst working at FARM, Rebekah Lee created the visual identity for HotBuns, a South-east Asian and Chinese street food takeout located at the Clarke Quay in Singapore. Inspired by the various kinds of colourful street stalls in Asia, a vibrant colour palette was defined and paired up with expressive typefaces.

The identity’s primary typeface is Kiosk by Nguyen Gobber which was also used in a slightly adapted version. The shape of Kiosk’s B also inspired the shelving system used for the takeout’s interior design. Supporting typefaces are Abordage by Eugénie Bidaut for copy text and Noto Sans to cover the Traditional Chinese script.
