Book design and art direction for Silvia Prió’s photographic project Gypsy Witches by Gwennina Moigne. Through photographs, it retraces a journey across Romania to the Moldovan border, in search of the legend of witches among Romanian Roma communities. Blending artistic and documentary approaches, the project explores this mysterious folklore, as well as the rituals, relationships, and practices of a women-led community living in a small village in Romania. Solæ is used for the text, with a custom version designed for the title. The book was published by Éditions Odyssées and printed by Escourbiac.
