The design talks to an architecturally literate audience, but also one that understands the significance of this publication. Contemporary typography as well as a bold palette of orange and blue underlines a fresh approach and new appreciation for the content. The minimal and generous pages create respectful space between the layout and the photographs, but the warm paper stock and fresh colours invite a non-academic audience. For us it was important to make this book appealing as a beautiful object so that it remained out of the bookshelf.
