Electryone

The book Electryone is a restitution of the project by the same name, which was presented at the Design Biennale Zürich 2023. Electryone is a solar cooking device for gatherings that invites to engage with energy production: it rotates alongside the sun path, stays beneath it, harnesses the sunrays, reflects them concentrated onto a focal point and converts the rays to heat.
In collaboration with the project participants, design studio / publisher Altana developed a visual narrative that gradually unveils the construction process and its functioning, elucidated through texts and images within the fold-out poster.
The project was developed in the context of the 2023 Design Biennale Zürich, with performative cooking events by Kitchuan, exhibited at Modern Animals gallery, Zurich.
