New York Farewell Party 2021, featuring Combo Chimbita and Innov Gnawa
Disco Tehran is a funky, warm dance party and live performance project that connects New York to the era of 1970s discotheques in Tehran. The parties were born out of a small apartment in New York City and rapidly attracted a cult following around the world.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the project has been running a community kitchen in collaboration with East Village Loves Queens to serve the people of New York.
This series of posters was commissioned for three different events that took place in Brooklyn, featuring artists and DJs from Niger, New York, and Puerto Rico.
