With $50M USD in seed funding secured and a team of tech heavyweights on board, DevRev engaged Standard Projects to craft a strategy, story and design system that presents DevRev as the future it represents. DevRev had a strong vision of what it wanted to be, but needed help communicating that vision to a wide audience, from investors to prospective employees and new customers.

Strategically, there were some problems to solve. In a saturated market, we needed to communicate the value, benefits and uses of this multifaceted platform with clarity and simplicity. Creating a category rather than being pigeonholed into one was paramount, as was the strong connection between product, marketing and the digital experience.

Through a collaborative strategy phase we uncovered customer, competitor and industry insights, and DevRev’s unique position. We avoided the category’s obsession with juvenile trends and focused on its unique ability to deliver insight, purpose and power to developers and customers alike.

Rooted in the brand idea of ‘Making Work Matter’, the identity is captivating and simple. Obsessed with customer centricity and simplifying the complex, it is intuitive and intentional, always pragmatic yet engaging and empathetic.
