Cite Online is a project which was founded out of the need to raise awareness about public space and urban experience. Cite is a digital platform for audiovisual documentation. The thematic atlas is formed by the transformation of public space. The theoretical approach is rooted in critical theory. Central to it is the integration of different media and forms of work, creating opportunities for designers from various disciplines to connect.

Thematic episodes are released on cite-online.com at irregular intervals. Depending on their potential, the content is processed for translation into physical and spatial installations. Accompanying public film screenings and discussion events serve as a framework for stimulating respective discourses.

The visual identity of the Cite Online project incorporates the use of the Giallo Roman typeface by Stereo Typefaces in various publications. By selecting a roman serif font, the design highlights the project’s theoretical foundation, deeply rooted in the humanities and critical theory. Furthermore, this type choice manages to strike a balance between emphasizing its theoretical background and creating a modern aesthetic.
