Brie in plan

An item from our festive cheese.

Slimbach’s warm reassuring calligraphic Sanvito announces this cheese (“caws” in Welsh) from Cenarth, Wales. Cenarth is a village in Carmarthenshire, on the border with Ceredigion.

The less formal handwriting-style type setting “Rich and creamy brie-style organic cheese” in English and “Caws organig ardduill brie cyfoethog a hufennog” in Welsh is Adobe Handwriting Frank. The small text appears to be in Gotham Condensed. The Caws Cenarth logo is based on Palatino Bold.

The Caws Cenarth website and other items from them use the same typography, plus Avenir Next.

Quite delicious by the way.
