Green Onions is a 1962 album from the instrumental soul quartet Booker T. & the MG’s. The title track was a top ten hit on the Billboard 200, and has been used in numerous movies and TV shows, including American Graffiti (1973).

The album title and artist name are set in the extra-bold weight of Folio on both the front and back cover.

Haig Adishian is credited for the design. According to Wikipedia, “the cover photo was shot by Irving Schild, who would go on to have a 52-year career as Mad Magazine’s primary photographer.”
