Posters for Bob Dylan’s 1975–76 Rolling Thunder Revue tour. Dylan set out to “play to the people” on this tour, focusing on smaller and less accessible venues. The performances were strongly influenced by vaudeville, featuring a variety of performers and attempting to create high dramatics with makeup and lighting. The use of Filmotype Quentin conveys the atmosphere of the tour instantly.
