Bikez is a publication showcasing photos and stories about cycling. Its first issue landed in 2023 out of New York’s Spotz Studios, which has been putting out books, magazines, parties and workshops since 2018.

Topics in issue 01 range from an Odesa alley cat by Elijah Stoyanov to Jean Bizi’s Tour du Rwanda, Kurt Boone on Cycling caps, Reuben Radding at Bike Kill, and Pauline Ballet's Allez Allez Allez. The cover illustration was made by Gwendal Le Bec. Worth a note for the type-inclined: the issue is set with Furya, a typeface by Léna Le Pommelet, credited alongside the photographers. Furya is also used for the magazine’s overall identity and appears on the Bikez Instagram channel as well as on merch.

Edited by Gabriel Manga. Creative direction by Pete Voelker at Spotz.
