Space Age Love Song” is the fourth single from the self-titled debut album by A Flock Of Seagulls, released in May 1982. Shown here is the sleeve for the U.S. release, distributed by Arista Records under license from Jive Records.

Designer Maude Gilman combines photography by Elizabeth Baptiste with Einhorn. This bold upright script (or joined-up roman) by Alan Meeks is a reinterpretation of Salut (Klingspor, 1931), issued by Letraset in 1980. Einhorn is distinguished from Heinrich Maehler’s original by various details, including a two-story a and a round-top A, both of which are featured here.

The back cover continues the “on an angle” theme. It depicts the LP cover and mentions the title of the B-side, “Windows”. Originally not on the album, this song was included on the remastered CD reissue from 2011. Small text is added in Futura Condensed, in italic all caps.
