Re-released via TypeNetwork in 2024, the first version of Keiko Titling dates back to 1994. It is the very first typeface that I’ve drawn with clean outlines. Before that it was just grunge city! In spite of its advanced age, Keiko Titling is still a pretty cool flyer font. Here it can be seen on a hoodie I had screen printed for my wife. The text says “Geladen und entsichert”, which is German and means “loaded and safety off”. In addition to all Latin-based European languages Keiko Titling’s character set supports Greek and Cyrillic. A version more suitable for body text is still on the back burner but expected to be released before the end of 2025.
