ITC Korinna was announced Vol. 1 No. 2 of U&lc in spring 1974. Ed Benguiat’s revival of Korinna was created already several years earlier: it’s shown in the 1971 catalog of Photo-Lettering, the company that handled the production of many of ITC’s fonts.
Here it can be seen in early use for an ad by Norelco. This brand name – short for “North American Philips Electrical Company” – was used by Philips for selling electric shavers and other personal care products in North America.
