Gfeller & Schmid, 1992, Doppelmoppel – Kulturwerkstatt Kaserne Basel (à suivre 43), Offset, 42×59.4 cm
The concert series ‹à suivre› was launched at the Kulturwerkstatt Kaserne Basel in 1986 and ran until 1992. The series was dedicated to modern jazz and improvised music, but was also open to no wave and other forms of experimental music. The events were numbered consecutively.
From No. 32 onwards, the event posters were designed jointly by Thomas Gfeller and Marcel Schmid in a uniform style. The basis was a single-color form with the series name. This was then overprinted with the current program. The color changed three times in four years. The typographic design was largely limited to the use of the capital letters of Univers 57 and 47 with loose letterspacing – and a few adjustments, such as the ampersand in No. 42. The series logo appears to be set in stretched Helvetica.
