A selection of poems from Victor Hugo’s Contemplations, illustrated with early photographs, was published by Éditions Diane de Selliers in a limited edition of 100 copies, each accompanied by a printed photograph by Gustave Le Gray from the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Graphic design by Prototype, Paris, using LL Ivory and LL Ivory Mono from Lineto and Caslonian Italic from Typofonderie. The book measures 24.5×33 cm and counts 498 pages. It was printed by OGM (Padua) on Colorplan GF Smith PROCOP SAS and GardaPat Lecta Torraspapel Malmenayde. Photogravure by Fotimprim, Paris.
